We’re proud to celebrate the successful conclusion of the Learning Forward Summer Programme 2025, where secondary school students explored a wide range of career pathways through immersive site visits, hands-on workshops, and job shadowing experiences.
From July 13 to 17, students engaged in a dynamic week that included five workplace visits, two newly introduced workshops, and a job shadowing day, each designed to provide meaningful insights into real-world industries and professions.
Throughout the programme, students had the chance to meet professionals from diverse fields—accountants, financial planners, an artist, a Legislative Council member, and young entrepreneurs—each offering personal stories, challenges, and advice from their career journeys. At every visit, students asked thoughtful questions, tried new tools, and reflected on how their own interests might align with future opportunities.
The week concluded with a warm and inspiring closing ceremony, where students received certificates in recognition of their growth—marking not just the end of the programme, but the beginning of new possibilities.
✨ New in 2025: Two Interactive Workshops
👓 Optometry Experience Workshop
Students explored the daily work of optometrists and learned about the integration of AI in eye care.
💡 Glide App Startup Workshop
Students took part in a no-code app development workshop, learning how technology and innovation can solve real-world challenges.

🏛️Legislative Council of the Hong Kong SAR Visit
Led by Hon. Dennis Leung Tsz-wing, MH, students had the unique opportunity to gain behind-the-scenes access and learn about the structure and responsibilities of the Legislative Council.
🏢 Tour of a Local Startup
Young entrepreneurs shared their journeys from student life to launching tech startups. Our student learn See how a local innovation-driven company operates and meet the team behind the scenes.
🎨 Artist & Architect Studio Visit
Step into an art studio founded by an architect, explore creative tools, and learn about the artistic design process.
📊 Visit to a Professional Accounting Firm
Discover the everyday work of accountants and learn about the different career paths in the accounting field.
💰 Wealth Management Job Shadowing Day
Shadow an experienced wealth manager and learn about financial planning and client engagement.
